The truth is that unless we understand this vital area, we cannot comprehend the events of our time or discern the way forward. We rely on these witnesses:
“And if you say in your lev, ‘How shall we know the word that YHWH has not spoken?’ When a navi speaks in the Name of YHWH, if the thing does not follow or come to pass, that is the thing which YHWH has not spoken. The navi has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.” — Devarim (Deuteronomy) 18:21-22.
“Again He said to me, ‘Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, listen to the word of YHWH.’” — Yechezkel (Ezekiel) 37:4.
“Surely the Master YHWH will do nothing without revealing His secrets to His avadim, the neviim.” — Ahmos (Amos) 3:7.
“For prophecy came not in ancient times by the will of man, but kadosh men of YHWH spoke as they were moved by the Ruach Hakodesh.” — Kepha Bet (Second Peter) 1:21.
